Fawn Mckay

Fawn McCay, birthplace in Ogden Utah September 15, 1915. She was a member of the Mormon Church's very first family, Fawn McKay directed her ingenious writing talents as well as her remarkable researching skills in the creation of the brilliant psycho-historical biography of Joseph Smith, published in 1945. The book was titled No Man knows My History. It was derived from the sermon title delivered by Joseph Smith in 1844, when he stunned his listeners by stating: "You do not know me and have not heard my voice. My story is not known to anyone. I'm not able to tell my story. Fawn (29 an age) wrote that she has been honest since the moment she made her statement, three-hundred writers have risen to the event. They do not have a lack of documents but they do contradict one the other. It's a daunting job to find these records and separate first-hand stories from copies that are third-hand and integrating Mormon narratives with non-Mormon ones into a coherent mosaic.
