Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston, born 9 August 1963 into a musically inclined family in Newark New Jersey is the daughter of the gospel singers Cissy Houston as well as John Russell Houston Jr. They are also cousins of singer Dionne Warwick. But it was it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard that solidified her standing as one of the most well-known performers. The film, and her performance in it was not appreciated, but the soundtrack and her rendition of the song by Dolly Parton I Will Always Love You charted for several months in the charts, and she sold more than 44 million albums and singles worldwide. When she gave birth to her daughter Bobbi she married Bobby Brown of the ex-New Edition group. At this point that her widely documented drug use began and by 1996 she was an everyday addict.
