Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been an actor, director writer, producer, and educator at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's father is British, and her mother was a Turkish Cypriot English expat. Anna Silk remembers her mother watching working in rehearsals for plays. Early on Anna appeared in a number of commercials on television. Anna relocated to Toronto, Ontario, to pursue her acting. The decade that followed, she eventually made the move in Los Angeles.
